Recipe: Date & Honey Loaf | thermomix |

I have a new obsession with Date Loaf. I remember my mum making something similar when I was younger and nibbling on thick slices slathered with butter.

I came up with this yummy sugar free version for thermomix.

What you need:
200gm pitted dates
270 gm SR flour
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp bicarb soda
30gm rolled oats
1 egg
300 gm milk
50 gm raw honey
pinch salt

How to:

  1. Pre-heat fan forced oven to 160C and grease a loaf tin, set aside
  2. Place all ingredients in thermomix and Speed 7 for 20 seconds
  3. Pour into loaf tin
  4. Bake for 40-45 mins or until skewer comes out clean
  5. Allow to cool slightly
Absolutely delicious!
Serve with or without butter depending on how healthy you feel at that time.

    Great recipe, I made it with coconut milk ( as guests coming over were dairy free) and crumbled some walnuts on top. Delicious, and my two year old loved it too. Thank you for sharing 🙂
