After months and months of consideration I finally summoned up the courage to get the tattoo I have been wanting for a very long time.
And I just adore it.
It is not visible with my usual everyday outfits. This is important to me. My wrist tattoo is the only one that can be seen on a day-to-day basis.
Why a hot air balloon?
For me, it represents my desire to travel and my somewhat insatiable wanderlust thirst. The anchor symbolises how HB and Maggie help to keep me grounded.
HB and I have wanted a matching tattoo for several years but we could never agree on what to get. He never really caught on to my Peter Pan and Wendy idea. Not sure why?!?
As you may know these past 18 months have been our darkest, but finally some sunlight is breaking through those storm clouds.
Why an arrow?
HB was inspired by his running journey to get this tattoo.
I love it! He wants to look down at his arm when his running and see it and I’m guessing he’s just going to keep on smashing those PBs of his.
